Countleader® FL 2000 is a fully automated high-throughput cell counter, designed to streamline cell counting with precision. It uses a patented FL24-plate, featuring microfluidic channels, and comes in two variants: the pre-loaded AO/PI dye plate (FL24-plate-A) for automated staining and an empty version (FL24-plate-B) for manual staining, ideal for diverse sample analysis needs.

High Precision:

The FL24-plate-A, pre-loaded with AO/PI dye, enables automatic staining and analysis of 24 samples in just 17 minutes, requiring only 30 µL of cell sample per well. It's ideal for counting challenging cells like Car-T, PBMCs, and primary cells, ensuring accuracy free from interference by non-nuclear elements.

This system is tailored for high-throughput environments demanding quick, reliable results with minimal human intervention.

High-Throughput and Fast Process Cell Counting

For rapid and efficient cell counting in process optimization, we recommend the FL24-plate-B, an empty 24-channel consumable. Simply add 20 µL of cell sample and 20 µL of Trypan Blue dye per well using a multichannel pipette. No manual mixing is needed as the sample automatically mixes and stains as it flows through the microfluidic channel. This setup allows for the analysis of 24 samples in just 12 minutes, making it ideal for daily high-volume cell counting during cell culture process optimization.

Stable and Reliable Results

The FL 2000 cell counter uses a magnification of 1.5x per sample view, with an analysis area of approximately 4.7 x 3.1 mm², offering 12 times the coverage of a standard hemocytometer. This enables the detection of tens of thousands of cells per sample. The combination of multi-sample counting and fully automated staining minimizes human error. Extensive testing on cell samples with varying concentrations and viability shows consistent results with a CV of less than 5% and a linearity (R²) greater than 0.99. Growth Curves Facilitate Process Optimization

The detection data from continuous cell culture samples obtained by the Countleader® FL 2000 can be used to plot cell growth curves. These curves provide insights into cell growth trends, which are crucial for optimizing cell culture processes.
